OUTREACH
One of Charlotte Succession’s primary goals is to serve the Charlotte
community.
Since 2005, Charlotte Succession outreach projects have included:
• Collecting coats for the homeless • Collecting
toys for disadvantaged children at Erwin Avenue Elementary School
for Christmas • Delivering Christmas trees to the needy • Building homes for Habitat for Humanity • Volunteering at Crisis Assistance Ministry
In addition to the regular service opportunities
presented by Succession’s Outreach Committee, Charlotte Succession’s
annual golf tournaments have raised more than $100,000 for the following
local nonprofit organizations:
THE AVENIR FOUNDATION, which provides
need-based scholarships to Charlotte-area schools and supports
mentoring programs.
THE HARVEST CENTER, which aims to meet
the spiritual and physical needs of Charlotte’s homeless population.
THE STEELE CREEK YOUTH NETWORK, which
provides youth ages 11 to 18 anti-gang and anti-violence
programming.
THE LEVINE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, whose
state-of-the-art health care facility is designed to care for the
physical and emotional needs of children and their families.
SPEEDWAY CHILDREN'S
CHARITIES, which provides funding for hundreds of non-profit
organizations to care for children in educational, financial, social
and medical need.
